Asana
The part of yoga which deals with physical exercises or poses are called ‘asanas’. The Sanskrit word asana translates to steady pose.Yoga asanas include various physical poses or postures that helps increases blood circulation to body parts, give massage and stimulation to internal organs for rejuvenation of its functioning. Also asanas releases tensions from joints in your body to attain lightness in limbs.
Pranayama
Practices in yoga uses the breathing process to channel our vital energy (translation of the word Prana) to every part of the body. Breathing is a very vital process of the body. It is even related to performance of human brain.
Mantra
The word Mantra means something that ‘protects the mind’. Their magical sounds help heal physical imbalances, relax the mind, quiet the emotions and open the heart.
